HSU WIN: Union halts cuts to NDIS art and music therapy

After extensive advocacy from the HSU, cuts to art and music therapy will be put on hold pending a review by the NDIA.

Art and music therapy are evidence-based practices, and practitioners are tertiary-qualified professionals.

It made no sense that changes to what the Agency considers a therapy, and what price art and music therapists could charge were made without consulting the sector.

An independent review will ensure changes to NDIS prices are made based on principles of evidence and fairness in consultation with the sector.

The HSU is the union for allied health – join your union today.
